Lesson Times

Currently I have very limited availability during after-school hours on weekdays. I also have a number of daytime slots available for adult / homeschooled learners. For a list of available slots, feel free to get in touch. 
 

Lesson Fees

My current lesson fee is  £32 per hour, pro rata, ie. £16 for 30 minutes / £24 for 45 minutes.  

Please note that these costs are for lessons taking place at my home teaching studio, and for online lessons delivered via Zoom. 

A free taster session is offered to all new starters, which includes an introductory 'mini lesson' together with an initial chat - this is so valuable for me to find out a little about you / your child, your / their interests, musical background (if any), and for you / your child to get a flavour of what my lessons will be like. At this initial meeting you will be able to ask any questions you may have, and you will be able to take away with you an information leaflet (sent via email for online pupils) that outlines everything you need to know prior to starting piano lessons, from policies to practice tips. This first session should help you to decide whether or not you'd like to go ahead with booking lessons. It's a big decision, and you may wish to go away and think about it for a day or two before letting me know. Once you have confirmed you'd like to take lessons, all you need to do is fill out a booking form to guarantee a regular slot and that's it, you're ready to go! Occasionally, I may advise that a very young child (5 or 6) is not quite old enough to start regular lessons, but it very much depends on the individual child so it's always helpful to meet them first in any case. 
  
After that, Piano Hands lessons take place weekly during term-time. Lessons are usually invoiced half-termly for children and monthly for adults, and are payable within 14 days. Payment via online bank transfer is preferred (bank details supplied on first invoice). Receipts are provided via email.
